I was fortunate enough to have attended the Afghan Hound World Congress in South Africa in May 2005. It was a wonderful
experience. I made many good friends, visited a beautiful country and learned a lot from the speakers and guests presenting at the Congress. The venue was spectacular at the Sun City Resort. Everyone involved with the Congress did a wonderful job and it was extremely well organized. After the Congress, we visited the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and saw a variety of exotic animals close up. I would encourage everyone to attend at least one World Congress, it's definitely worth the trip.
